absolutely the ultimate Tiki Bar, hidden away on a remote coast of Maui. Not busy, but very popular. Time seems to not apply here, the old timers and the no timers all get along as if....they were, at the perfect bar. The perfect music. A Tiki Bar. An invitation is rare, requiring a certain state of mind, a certain understanding of what Tropical means, of what Tiki really means. Far beyond the trendy 1950's and 60's this Tiki Bar moves perfectly with Time. Tiwaka's Bar & Grill may let you in, but rarely does she let you out, unchanged. Those that do leave, do so reluctantly. Their dreams haunt them for years, their dreams challenge them to return. Come, share a coconut. |
